Well, I guess I should update this more often, huh? BUT I guess that means I have more to say tonight.
Tough week, but I made it through with flying colors.
Lesson of the week: persistence pays off . After tweaking, erasing, double spacing, spell checking, e-mailing, uploading, (no I’m not done) consulting, applying, & some more e-mailing. I have two interviews with two prominent companies in south Fl for an internship this summer. Next step, don’t blow the interviews!
The interview process can be very stressful and intimidating. While I’m as nervous as Shaq going to the line, I’m trying to be as prepared as I can be by this Friday. But how can a girl be focused on interviews when the Superbowl is the same weekend!?
Easy… As much of a football fan that I am, I hate to say this, but I really could care less about either of the teams this year. Although I’ll be pulling for the cheese-heads, because someone needs to shut these Steeler fans up. Maybe “Big” Ben will throw an after party for young drunk steeler girls?
In other news, my friend stumbled upon a puppy Friday evening… Guess who adopted him for a couple days? You guessed it…
This little “bundle of joy” (I use this phrase lightly…) we believe is a Labrador/pit/shepherd mix.
Being an avid animal lover I found it hard to leave the little booger alone so I volunteered to watch him until we found an owner. Of course, the voices in the back of my head were telling me to keep him, but Molly (my 3yr old lab) had other plans… The look on her face as he gnawed on her ears was enough to make me tell those voices to hush up.
Thankfully, I found an owner for him today, and I think I made the best decision. Molly and I aren’t ready for a new addition to our family…yet.
The un-potty trained little monster made me realize how thankful I am for such a well-behaved dog as Molly. Maybe it’s just my ‘proud mother syndrome’, but she’s… in the words of Tina Turner… “simply the best”.
